Wonderful experience
-
The property is well-maintained, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is well located and is beautiful inside. The rooms had everything we needed and the staff were really friendly. Only slight criticism would be the pool. It’s an indoor pool and doesn’t appear to be geared (or if it is, it isn’t very warm!). There were no loungers, only chairs. You couldn’t sunbathe outside in the garden as there were no loungers or chairs. It was 35 degrees (95F) and so we had planned to have an afternoon relaxing around the pool, but couldn’t.

Wonderful!

Very nice place to stay, yet still affordable. Super comfortable beds, immaculately clean room and bathroom. ❤️

Excellent stay and dog friendly

The Read House is a marvel of restoration that incorporates modernization as well as a brilliant retention of its original charm. Never see it done better. We LOVE staying there. (If your hotel room bath is important to you... there is none better. Trust me.) Chattanooga is usually our last stop on the way home so our stay is only one night. We have decided to discover what activities are available in the are just so we have an excuse to stay at the Read House Hotel for longer visits. Somehow it remains unusually affordable. I hope this can continue.

Lively activities in the lobby. Pool was fun for the kids. Room service was not too sharp. We settled for what they gave us which differed from what we ordered. The room was not very clean, but we made the best of it and moved on.

Lovely vintage location. High end and beautiful
-
Other than the elevators, the Read House was wonderful and charming. The staff was very helpful and the decor provided a nostalgic vibe.

Such a lovely atmosphere!
-
Absolutely beautiful, historic building. Nice rooms. My only complaint would be no microwave, and the tiniest room fridge ever. All else well and nice. Would stay again.

Great location and staff
-
Beautiful hotel ideally located to restaurants. Loved its old fashioned feel. We had dinner at their five star steak restaurant - also excellent.
-
This was such an elegant hotel. I truly felt pampered there. The rooms, the beds, the bathroom was all impeccably clean and comfortable.
-
Gorgeous hotel. Highly recommend. The steakhouse on site was excellent. Staff was kind and helpful.
-
In the lobby was a StarBucks, also great since they don't serve breakfast and in room coffee was lame. Everything is walkable within 10-15 mins. I would definitely go back!
-
Everything was beautiful, and wonderful!
-
Great experience as usual. One of my favorite hotels!
-
Large room, comfortable.Great location. Great restaurant and bar. Staff friendly. Would have rated better, but there was construction above my room early one morning. It was constant, extremely loud and very disruptive. Went on for hours. Front desk did not seem very concerned.
