so besides her (probably your best front desk employee) -only 1 elevator was working so thankfully we were only on the 3rd floor so we just took the stairs everytime. (i’m 7 months pregnant and could’ve really used a working elevator but i wasn’t about to wait 30 minutes to use it) -Our room wasn’t cleaned by the hotel staff once in our 4 day stay. We kept it clean anyways but we expected maybe new towels and new bed sheets once at least???? -we called ahead around 6pm to check in over the phone cause our flight got cancelled and we ended up driving down. Whoever answered the phone was so rude and no help (called on 6/23). They couldn’t find my reservation and then just hung up. That’s when we called again around 11pm and the lovely Jordan answered and found it right away with no struggles. -The outdoor pool seemed unkept. We saw 1 maybe 2 employees trying to keep up with everything in the area. The surrounding area was fine, lots do it and lots of places to eat. Definitely recommend Kate’s Pancake House. Jordan is the only reason this is receiving 2 stars and not 1.

Everything was great. There is an issue with the elevator. Where it's only one that works. But besides that everything was awesome.

The biggest negative was only one elevator was working and it was a huge pain! Staff didn't really give any description of the hotel just said here's your key.

The most frustrating part was that after all that waiting, the room clearly had not been properly cleaned. There was still a bucket containing someone else’s trash left in the room, there was no soap provided, the bathroom faucet was covered in spots and residue, and even some of the towels had stains on them. What exactly was being done in the room for nearly two extra hours? It appeared that the only thing completed was changing the bed linens. Not once did anyone offer a sincere apology. No room upgrade, no late checkout, no bonus points, no gesture of goodwill of any kind. Nothing. Ironically, there is a notice on the door stating that guests may be charged $1,250 for a late checkout after 11:00 AM. The hotel seems very concerned about guests respecting their schedule, yet apparently feels no responsibility when it fails to honor its own guaranteed check-in time. By that logic, where is my $1,250 for the delayed check-in? If guests are expected to pay penalties for not respecting the hotel’s schedule, then perhaps the hotel should also compensate guests when it fails to respect its own check-in time…

While there my car would not start so I went to the hotel desk for some help(I had jumper cables) one of the hostess there offered to bring her car around to where my was parked . She did and with in minutes my car was running(took it to a local auto parts store, cell was dead so I bought a new battery). The point being that they went above and beyond helping me out in my opinion ! oh yes, great view of the ocean from my balcony right by the beach. Highly recommend

No microwave in room. Found out day before we left it was down the hall. 10 floors and only one working elevator. Not enough handicap parking

Everything was nice. Indoor pool was closed for maintenance

Only one elevator was working and the indoor pool was closed half the time we were there. We had to ask for new towels twice before receiving them. Overall the property seemed pretty run down.

The elevator was a HASSLE. One was broken and had been for months and the other elevator was a 10+ minute wait. At 9 months pregnant I didn’t love hiking stairs up and down to our 5th floor room. The hotel has great beach access and rooms are clean. But I wouldn’t be booking this as a main summer vacation - fine for a long weekend, if the elevator and lack of child supervision (from boardwalk) wouldn’t bother you.
