Worried upon arrival because looks like Bates Motel in PSYCHO. However, staff friendly, and premises clean. Room decor is extremely outdated, but beds were clean and comfortable. Showers were hot with excellent water pressure. Great location. Would stay there again.

Fresh and clean property and room. Huge room! With clean new carpet and spotless bathroom were impressive. We spent 2 nights there and were very pleased 😃 Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the fact it was available after 9am.

No pool, breakfast area very well maintained.

Close to the university, spacious and well-equipped gym compared to other hotels, wonderful staff. I guess the breakfast is just what you might expect from a Best Western, not a lot of healthy options but a nice range considering the price of the hotel!

My son and I stayed at the Best Western in BG because we were there for his orientation. The room was very clean, the staff was amazing! And the lighting in the bathroom was perfect. :) I want to recognize a couple people that work there. Renae was doing “extra work” while she could have been lazy and on her phone. Idk the lady’s name, but she was cleaning and refreshing the breakfast on Tuesday morning…she was awesome! I will definitely be staying there again!!! 11 out of 5 stars! :)

Location was perfect, we had stayed here years ago when my son graduated from BGSU, and were here for my granddaughters orientation at BGSU. Rooms were nice, cute welcome on the TV screen, lots of towels, and other bathroom items, Breakfast was amazing ! Quite satisfied. My only complaint was the AC. It had turned cooler outside so we turned it down a bit, Then later back up, but it seemed to have issues. It would kick on and then go right off. After awhile it would kick on again and stay, but not very long and off. It did this all night and was quite noisy with the on and off, on and off. Didn't sleep too well.

This motel is an updated older motel, but very clean. The TV remote requires patience and confusing to use. The AC was uncomfortably noisey and hard to figure out how to control. There should be written instructions on both of these controls. The toilet was functional but not very powerful.
