There is no Cafe or a place to set down and get a nice dinner. There are a bunch of little casino with fast bar type food. Location is nice and the place is quiet. No place to get breakfast. There ste lots of nice restaurants in Boulder City. Staff were great!
-
Not family friendly at all. What food is available is horrible, beds are horrible (for me) very hard. All the restaurants as they call them or bars had no service. Coffee machine broken. No wonder the place was empty

It was out dated

Wish you had a good restaurant there!
-
Excellent location if you’re planning to visit Hoover Dam or Las Vegas ! The place it’s very cozy!
-
There was no coffee in the room. But the coffee downstairs was fantastic. It was free and the rest of the hotel was the best night of sleep I got in this 8-day trip to Vegas.
-
Clean spacious room (2 queen beds), very friendly staff, wonderful pool hours (6a - 11p), however the water was ice cold.

Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay here!

This is a good place for a quick over night stay, ONLY! This place has a beautiful entrance, check in was quick, the rooms are spacious, the bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower but....you have to keep going downstairs to the front desk for ice... there are no ice machines on any floor! Only one elevator is functioning for a hotel with 14+ floors. There is no coffee maker in the room so they give you coffee vouchers (I guess). The employees at the restaurants and the "general store" have an attitude and make you feel like it's such an inconvenience when you ask them anything! And everything you order it’s "we are out" so your choices are limited. The food at the Chinese restaurant is nasty! Everything is microwaved! Beef teriyaki was more like beef stew poured over white rice! In the room, There a very few outlets! You have to pull the bed back to plug in your electronics. You have to pull the dresser out with the TV on top to plug in the iron, not convenient at all. Bed... it's a bed and we only stayed here for one night which was enough! Two stars given for cleanliness and spaciousness.

Hotel is older. Could use a little TLC. Pool was nice, my grandson enjoyed it. Lake view from our room was great. Not really a kid friendly venue. My girlfriend met an old friend that lives in Vegas at the hotel and we had cocktails. Ended up being chased out of the bar area because of my grandson. When we tried to eat, we were told my grandson couldn't be in the Red Dragon, because of the gaming machines. Ordered food to go and went back to the "General Store" to eat it, as it's the only area that allows kids, and you can't drink there. No coffee machine in the room. They gave us coffee vouchers we could use downstairs in the morning, but the "General Store" didn't have coffee, had to go to one of the gambling/food venues to get it. No ice machines. Desk gave us a couple of baggies of ice, but no bucket to put it in. Guess I'm not used to the restrictions in Nevada, due to the gambling.

No restaurant or any decent food options. No coffee in the rooms, you get vouchers for bar coffee. Be prepared to travel 10 miles to eat.

Everyone and everything was so awesome beside the 65 mile an hour wind

The hotel location was awesome for the Hoover Dam and for our day at Lake Mead. The spa was closed for repair, multiple elevators are broken, every food place in the hotel was out of food and only one of the restaurants had coffee. The night staff was excellent, very friendly very helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was wonderful. Ice machines were broke and no coffee in the rooms. Rooms and hallways need to be updated. It was clean and comfortable orher than that.

Things looked run down, not what I was expecting
-
The AC in my room started making loud noises at 4 am ...........woke me up and had to turn the AC off....
-
No ice makers. Had to get ice from the front desk that was just a frozen block. Hot tub was down.

I was here for 2 nights over Memorial Weekend. The place is older, but well kept and I was quite appreciative since it was a warm weekend that the air conditioning worked. It was a quiet stay as well and felt safe. Great location to stay, close to Hoover Dam and Boulder City is a quaint town and if you want to go to Vegas the drive there isn't bad. Also even though an older hotel it had elevators. I'd definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to Hoover dam and lake Meade. Quiet rooms, spacious. Great staff. Lots of amenities available. 15-20 drive to Las airport. Great memories.
-
Rooms are a bit spartan and old. However, it worked out well as base camp for adventures.
