Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Bloomington

Was a clean room. bar wasn’t open or pool. And limited to only breakfast

The lights were malfunctioning; I asked for them to be changed, but in three days, no one ever came to fix them. Also, the three soap dispensers in the shower are in the way while bathing—it’s very poorly designed; the soap should be on the other side so you can get in easily and shower comfortably. I am very disappointed.

I picked a house there priced place to stay hoping we would get a better experience. The breakfast was good but the pool was closed our entire 4 day stay, which we were looking forward to. The bar was also closed. I will not stay here again and pay this price for what we got.

The ceilings in these rooms are very tall and there is not any carpet in the room to take up some of the echo. May be why the noise from overhead floors were so dominate. Breakfast was plentiful with many selections. Overall the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and room was fresh smelling. Flooring seemed clean as was the other furniture in the room. I would stay again but ask for a top floor room. The price was reasonable when needing just a place to lay your head for the night.

One room air wasn’t keeping up, other worked fine. Beds weren’t comfy. Not really maintained very well. No concessions , vending machines were pretty empty, nowhere to purchase anything.

The room itself felt sparse and uninviting, lacking the cozy touches you’d expect from a hotel stay. The beds were extremely firm, and the bedding was minimal with no plush comforters. The overall atmosphere felt unfinished and neglected. The staff was friendly and courteous, which was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was standard, though there were no allergy-friendly options available aside from fruit. The coffee was unfortunately very weak and tasted watered down. We don’t use the bar ourselves, but it appeared to have been closed for quite some time. Additionally, the pool was closed for maintenance during our visit. Overall, while the staff was kind, the condition of the property did not meet our expectations, and we would likely choose a different place to stay next time.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and had a menu appealing to everyone in our family. The room needed a deeper cleaning and many minor repairs. Our deepest disappointment was the pool had been closed by the health department in between our booking and arrival. My kids were looking forward to swimming, and particularly because the weather was poor during our trip. If I had known about the pool, I would have canceled and re-booked elsewhere.

The breakfast was very good with options everyone in my family enjoyed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our disappointment came in the overall upkeep of the facility and particularly the pool. I booked this hotel four months ago when we made our travel plans because of the extra space in the room and the pool. When weather prevented us from swimming outdoors, I thought, "At least we have the hotel pool!" But we didn't. I had not idea it had been closed. I would have looked for another hotel had I known because that was a significant piece for our family.

Air conditioning was not working in the main lobby. Upon check in were notified the bar and pool were closed down and not in use. Property grounds were not maintained. We checked right out and did not stay.

Pool was closed by the health inspector . The window seal in our room had not been wiped down in months don’t worry I did it .staff was very friendly and our room was very nice they are trying I can see that .

The room was very spacious.

The room was fantastic. Comfy beds, large size and clean. The pool was broken and the breakfast beverage dispenser was broken. Overall would stay here again. It was perfect for a one night stay while traveling through.

The entire hotel smelled of pot. Pool is/has been closed for a while with no notice until after you arrive. Room keys had to be reprogrammed daily. AC went out on second day and we had to switch rooms. No “I’m sorry” or upgrade for any of the inconveniences. Just excuses…

our room was clean , it had a phone , a clock , hangers , and the sink and tub even drained properly . It was very refreshing .
