The cons: This had to be one of the most uncomfortable beds known to mankind. It was so soft it was like a gummy worm meets marshmallow - with dips in the middle and it seemingly tilted backwards. My boyfriend and I were in misery throughout the night. We were on the second floor (there are three) and the ceiling had to be paper thin between us as we heard the person walk above us at all times. At 4:00 a.m. ish there was some sort of loud clanging in water pipes that seemed like a clog traveling thoroughly the building. It was so loud it woke us up, as well as the person upstairs. While it sounds like the other woken up guest was doing a tap dance, I know they were just walking throughout the room. So, 4 a.m. rise and shine.....once the clanging ceased we uncomfortably dozed off again.....only to be woken up to the tap dance again at 8:15 a.m. The staff was nice, price reasonable and location good......but I kind consider sleeping essential when getting a room to sleep somewhere. Hotels should reconsider the cheap plank flooring when doing upgrades as, well, carpet pads and carpet serves a purpose with noise dampening.

the room was fine and staff was generally nice and helpful. great location as well. the breakfast was terrible and we could not eat it past the first day. breakfast attendant was also extremely rude. room was a little bit dusty but otherwise clean.

Great breakfast, comfy beds, and this was the nicest Laquinta location we have ever stayed at. 10/10 recommend.

It was the worst bed I have ever had to sleep in and the overwhelming number of LED flood lights are good for security but it looked like 7:00 am all night long even with the blackout curtains closed

Excellent property. We did have a mix up with our reservation but the staff was great to work with to resolve the matter with Expedia.

The customer service that was given was disappointing. The customer service was poor. The individual at the front desk was rude. Additionally, the bed sheets felt like they were just taken out of the washer.

Noisy and not very well maintained facility, but ok. Loud slamming doors up and down hallway were nuisance. Door return was so powerful it could fling a little old lady across the hall. Glad I'm fat enough to withstand the aggressive door closer. All in all mediocre, but adequate.

Suite was a nice feature for pack n plays and a separate room for adults

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean, well supplied and had a variety of choices. The one thing they all had in common was the lack of available TV options. You could not cast from your phone or iPad, or sign in to your Netflix or other streaming platforms. There were a few channels available…none that interested me. So, I was disappointed at all of the hotels that I had to watch on my iPhone when there was a screen right on the wall in front of me. I recommend this hotel . It is not a four or five star hotel, obviously, but better than many of their competitors in the 3 ⭐️ range.

We stayed based on the reviews. The area is really nice and convenient, but we felt gross in the place. Smells and an overall feeling that the place was not clean.

Everything. Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean. Easy access to Birmingham and so much to do. Safe! Pet friendly, family friendly and clean. Pool area great. Near restaurants, shopping, parks, explore. We like all things.
