Hotel Mira Vista

I was very disappointed that they really don’t have breakfast. There were 2 prices listed so I paid more for “breakfast included” and they had stopped serving breakfast. They put out wrapped pastries and muffins. That pricing should be changed.

Hosts are nice! Close to shopping!

Smell cigarettes and little old property but stuff are helpful.

Love staying here when I come to visit family. Nice rooms, friendly staff, safe and convenient location, and great selection of TV channels. What more could you ask for?!

Super clean facilities with few amenities. If you only need a place to sleep, highly recommend it. If you look for comfort, I’d suggest to bring your needs with you. Such as a fluffy pillow.

Location was easy to find, right on a major intersection. Several places were available for eating, within walking distance from the hotel. The room on the 2nd floor looked recently renovated and was comfortable.

Great place to stay. Nice rooms and close to supermarket, drugstores, Ross and etc.

Solid little hotel with an excellent value compared to other Berkeley properties at the same time of year. I was a bit taken aback at first by the strong smell of Fabuloso and the less than posh surroundings. But the room was very clean with updated flooring and bedding, The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to a Bart station, which made getting around very convenient. There is also free parking if you do have your own car. Nothing fancy - breakfast consisted of coffee, tea and packaged baked goods and soap/shampoo products were cheap quality. Definitely worth considering if you are traveling to the Berkeley/SF area on a budget.

Bed and shower were clean, the mini fridge and microwave worked. Plenty of parking and right off of 80, so easy access for a commuter like me. Overall a decent stay for what you are paying for.

Convenient Location to shopping and food. Bed was uncomfortable and no black out shades.

It didn't provide any slippers but ok in the end for the money we paid. More like a chinese hotel

Close to Berkeley Seemed very unsafe and sketchy with homeless people sleeping right out front. Scary to wait for an uber outside. Doors locjk at 8pm and if your key stops working they may not be there to open the door.

I liked the hotel was walking distance to my daughters home. Not sure why this hotel has received high scores. From the time you park, check in and see your room it does not stand to the high recent reviews. The toilet didn’t flush of which I asked but had to unplug myself. The pillows were like cotton balls stuffed inside of a cloth bag. The staff not friendly at all and sit behind an enclosure. The towels had some sort of film in them. There were very little amenities in the room. No coffee maker but glad to have a small refrigerator and microwave. I would not stay here again.

a regular motel , just!

Staff was extremely friendly and courteous with our needs. The rooms were spacious and the beds were surprisingly comfortable! We greatly enjoyed the location especially due to the proximity to the BART station and nearby biking trails! Parking was also solid as there was good room and it felt save leaving behind while walking off the property. Not necessarily things that would cause dislike but if you plan to watch tv, there may be some issues with connectivity.
