A few more breakfast choices would be welcomed.

This is a fairly new, smallish hotel. The room and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff, if I remember correctly, cleaned the room every other day, which was fine for us. The room with 2 queen beds is long and narrow, with a useful seating area at one end but not much storage, and a bit of a tight squeeze between the bed and the desk. Bathroom is nice and clean. Our room faced the back of the hotel (away from University Ave.), which made it quiet; other side might be less so. There is no restaurant in the hotel but several nearby, including an excellent Indian restaurant one block down. The optional breakfast-burrito delivery was inexpensive but so-so. If you have time, you'd be better off having breakfast at the bagel place down the block. Front desk staff was professional and helpful, and retrieved our car from the adjoining garage within a few minutes each time was asked. (Parking costs extra.) The UC campus and downtown Berkeley are about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. University Ave. itself is heavily traveled and not all that pleasant, but there are nice quiet neighborhoods to either side of it. Berkeley is an expensive hotel market, but the Aiden is surely one of the best options -- not luxurious, but solid.

Room was very clean and modern. There is parking by valet only. We stayed just one night and felt well cared for and welcomed.

The hotel was super nice and new, great location in the Bay (close to the BART and restaurants). The rooftop was so lovely too! I loved that my window opened and how clean the room was. All in all, great hotel!

This is my second time staying here. It’s close to the BART station and Trader’s Joes. The rooftop has a nice view.

Completely remodeled, attractive decor, very clean, staff went above and beyond- we told the day desk staff member we needed to leave the next morning early and get our car out of valet at 5:30 am. When I called to request the vehicle from the overnight desk person, she told me the car was already out front and waiting for us. Made a huge difference!

Good, reasonably priced option next to UC Berkeley. Residence Inn has become unaffordable, so this is a good alternative. Nothing fancy, but clean, well-staffed, and walking distance from campus and your ungrateful offspring.

Location, rooms, rooftop lounge Parking situation. Our car was too large for valet. We did find street parking nearby, but its nice to have parking service associated with the hotel.

The front desk staff was great Hot water in coffee bar wasn’t very hot

Great room and view. Bed sheets and blankets were comfy, and best pillows ever. Lots of free coffee and water. Staff was super friendly. Parking was tricky because they don't allow trucks to park in their garage, so it was off-street parking or metered parking. Great air conditioning, TV, and bathroom. Lovely roof-top hangout area. Will definitely stay here again.

It was super clean, the staff were helpful and professional. They went out of their way to make sure our stay a pleasant experience. Beds were comfortable, the windows being able to open were great to get fresh air, and the roof terrace was so nice to have tea at the end of the night. Coffee+tea all day long in the lobby was also a bonus. The parking was expensive and the breakfast options were limited/overpriced. But that was not a deal breaker, we found parking in bearby neighborhoods and great breakfast spots nearby.
