Wingate by Wyndham Baltimore BWI Airport

The room was clean and well stocked, but not in good condition. Furniture was worn and broken. The pillows felt like bags of lumpy fluff and definitely need replaced. The comforter was discolored. The room phone was not functional. The toilet was shockingly loud - would wake people up in the middle of the night. The hallways were muggy and warm, I felt bad for staff having to work in them. Only one elevator was working and it needs some repairs to the flooring.

Close to BWI AIRPORT

Hotel is a little on the dated side. It could use a refreshing but the room was clean and comfortable. Stayed there the night before we left to be close to BWI airport. Staff was friendly. Shuttle service was very good. Breakfast was decent but they need to get away from the instant coffee packets. A couple of eating options relatively close by (McDonalds down the street, kabob place next door, Chipotle and a Dunkin Donuts about a 15 minute walk away). Good for a night or so for people traveling on business. So so for families. Didn't have time to take advantage of the workout room, so I didn't look into it.

Had to drive there all the way from NYC after a canceled flight. Despite the fact that we booked what was probably the last 2 rooms in the place, the staff was kind and accommodating. The room was more than adequate. Very clean and comfortable bed and sofa bed. I'd stay the again for double the price!

We were left stranded at the airport whit no hotel shuttle. Called hoteldesk 3 times. After 2 hours waiting a kind hearted stranger took us and another family to the hotel.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay near the airport. Efficient staff, clean rooms, great value with free breakfast.

We switched from initial room because smell of marijuana was overwhelmingly strong. Property in general had light smell of marijuana. Had trouble getting change for laundry at front desk. If laundry requires $3.75/load, then the front desk should have enough change to run several loads of laundry. Overall, second room was clean.

Room assigned had shower that leaked all over bathroom floor. Front desk placed us in another room next day with no problem. I realized 2 days later that I didn’t have a pair of shoes. I went front desk again thinking I either forgot them from home or just left them in room we moved from. They had housekeeping check and found my shoes! All staff very helpful.

I didn't like that I bought my own washcloths and housekeeping took them and they were beige color and hotel is white they can tell the difference, other than that the hotel was good.

Seems to have only instant coffee

Forget about five stars or how clean the lobby looks. U have to always inspect, where U spend money. Room check failed horribly. A/C barely blew air. Fridge was on low,as ALL hotels tell housekeeping to do. Downside, Fridge won't cool or keep anything cold. The tub, drain wouldn't drain. Who wants a pool of water around their ankles. Yes, they provided another room, in which we sweat through the night, showered before sunrise, and CHECKED out asap. Never again will I stay here.

Said it would be 5-10mon was over 20 Room refrigerator didn't work amd clock had the wrong time which threw off my departure in the morning Soiled hallway carpets

First, parking was terrible. There weren’t any spots. Literally waited around in the parking lot about 20 minutes our first night waiting on someone leave. 2nd night wasn’t much better, just lucked out and caught a person driving off. One room was a fair deal for the price and our needs. No issues. Our second room had a smell to it. Saw a roach crawl into the bathroom through what looked like a vent on the wall near the shower. There was hair in the shower and different hair on the drying towels. TV didn’t work properly. All but a few channels were scrambled (other room worked fine). Found trash on the floor. On a positive note, the bed was pretty comfortable. Oh, and the breakfast is just okay - could have over looked it if they had real coffee. Never had a negative experience at a Wingate, but this property is definitely in need of renovation. We only stayed because the ratings were high.

Fit the bill, close to airport, very economical

My bedding was not clean. There was someone else's decal matter and blood on the covers. I took photos to send to corporate. Def will not be staying there again

Clean room but outdated

Excellent stay at very reasonable price. Great breakfast. Highly recommend.

Overall the stay was good, but the a/c in the room worked, but was extremely loud the whole time. When it cycled on it roared extremely loud, terrible night of sleep. It seems a very old unit. Will not be staying here again, and a shame, I like Windham Hotels. They just really need to remodel this one.
