Hyatt Place Bakersfield

Very nice and clean. Some traffic noise on the main street side.

It was easy to get to and there was a Trader Joe’s, Starbucks, and restraints across the street. The room was clean and modern. The shower was luxurious and the bed very comfortable. They had several lounge areas.

Very friendly staff, Hotel room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good.

Room 325 near elevator was very noisy. Window shade was broken, ensuring bright sunshine directly in the room at 6:15 AM. At 7 am, staff began loading up several large containers of ice in the hallway, also very loud, for a good 10 minutes. Not a very restful night.

This was very convenient during our stay in Bakersfield. The property was clean and the room was spacious for the one night that we were there. We stayed in a room with a king size bed and a pullout sofa that worked really well for our 13 and 11-year-old. Parking was easy to find in the front. Right next to the front desk was a little grab and go fridge where we could get quick drink, and snack items which worked really well.

The room we were assigned had unflushed FECES in the toilet. Completely disgusting and unacceptable. The TV was also on and the couch was askew, so we’re thinking staff was using our room to relax in. We asked for a new room immediately. But when we checked out and contacted a manager requesting some kind of compensation, they denied. Hotels.com also reached out to them to request partial compensation and they did not respond. This type of situation is completely unavoidable and it’s unacceptable to assign someone a used room with unflushed feces in the toilet.

Was in Bakersfield for a work trip and this is an excellent spot for all the conveniences nearby. Very comfortable stay

The room was very comfortable and we had a lovely stay. I hope we are able to stay again when we visit Bakersfield in the future.

Quick place to stop over and continental breakfast

Room was nice, front desk was awesome and friendly, breakfast was good, except the eggs. The eggs are still haunting me. I think they may be powdered or something. Otherwise, nice easy stay.

The staff was super friendly. The only thing was when we entered the hotel. It was so hot. I don't know if their AC was out.

Its was just good exactly what I expected.

The hotel was just like any other Hyatt Place as it's clean and the beds are comfy. Breakfast was great and the hotel is right next to all kinds of restaurants and even an Albertsons and Trader Joe's, which came in handy.
