Very well restored hotel with amazing staff!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had great breakfasts in the cafe and a wonderful lunch in the Victorian Room. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The valets were super speedy in getting our car for us. All together a great hotel experience.

I found the breakfast only okay as the staff required additional training. The dining room, newly opened, is over priced and lacked the feel of an excellent restaurant. The bread was brought out in a paper bag and the sause for the steak was only fair. The young men at the entrance were excellent and always very pleasant and helpful.

Location Undergoing restoration. The lobby was covered in drapes. The main bar and restaurant were unusable during our stay. It was noisy and should have been 1/2 price during this period

Everything was to our satisfaction, we particularly enjoyed drinks on the second floor of the lobby bar, the Victorian.

People were very nice and the room was ok but the bar was closed, half of the elevators didn’t work and my tiny window overlooked a ledge on the roof covered in garbage. Very average.

The Driskill is being renovated, something not disclosed on Expedia. Dining room, fitness facility and most of lobby & 2nd floor are closed. Further, Driskill didn't have room we reserved available on 1st night. We were placed in downsized room, with smaller bed. No compensation provided by Driskill for lesser room. Extremely poor experience for self-proclaimed luxury hotel.

This was a fabulous place to stay ! The staff was incredible . The hotel was amazing . The room was perfection . I cannot say enough about this hotel and if I go back to Austin this will always be the place I go !! I actually went to the front desk when I left to say how amazing my experience was . I haven’t done that in a while !
