We always enjoy the adult-only pool. The hotel is very clean. The lake view is gorgeous!

Had a great time! Hotel smells really nice. Staff was excellent.

House keeping wasn’t great either — our call for extra towels was received, but forgotten. Had to search out the front desk to get some. And on the morning of checkout, they entered our room early, trashed our our food and other items and stripped the bed before we completed packing. It was weird, like “hurry up and leave” weird. We can’t comment on the restaurant since we skipped it, worrying the cost there would also far exceed the quality. But it always looked empty. I would return, for half the price, maybe. The Resort has its merits but charges a premium for mediocre.

Location was awesome for quiet and peaceful surroundings. Staff was extremely nice. Rooms and AC could be updated but overall very comfortable and clean room

There were a couple of minor areas for improvement. The hot water was inconsistent while showering, and some of the patio furniture—particularly around the original pool—was torn and could use replacement. Overall, these were small issues, and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at Lakeway Resort. Our group consisted of 10 couples, and unfortunately, the overall experience fell well below expectations. First, we were told it was a $50 fee for an early check-in at 12:50 PM despite having a large group reservation. Given the size of our party and the business we brought to the resort, this felt unnecessary and disappointing. Additionally, by 3:42 PM on the first day, several popular beverages were already unavailable, including Michelob Ultra, High Noon, and Sun Cruiser. Throughout the weekend, we repeatedly encountered inventory shortages, which significantly impacted our experience. Our group dinner was particularly frustrating. Despite having a pre-selected menu, the meal lasted approximately four hours, and multiple menu items were unavailable. For a planned group event, we expected a much smoother and better-coordinated dining experience. We were also disappointed by the condition of the pool, which had visible algae throughout it. This raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Finally, many staff members we interacted with were neither helpful nor friendly. Hospitality and customer service are critical components of the guest experience, and unfortunately, those expectations were not met during our stay. Given these issues, we feel our experience did not reflect the standards we expected from Lakeway Resort.

The rooms need some updating, the family fun zone ceiling doesn’t exist. The children’s pool needed to be cleaned. Overall it was okay but not okay for resort prices. This is the second time we’ve been here, the first time was 10 years ago and looks exactly the same.

Pool was amazing. Great view, food, and drinks.

No hay un guía para explicarte bien todo lo que puedes hacer y disfrutar

The lake is really the only good thing. I used to come here as a kid. It was simple. Reasonable. The view of lake is amazing. It’s too expensive for what you get. The food was so overpriced. The quality was bad. The front desk wasn’t good. My kids didn’t swim in pool because of roaches. I don’t like it anymore. We won’t be back , sadly.

We completely LOVED OUR STAY we will definitely be back everyone was so nice and helpful our room was perfect

Bed was not great. Kids pool need some repairs. For my opinion they can do better.

The room that was reserved for me was on the first floor and probably the worst room they have. I asked if they can change the room for me but they said that I have to upgrade to get another room. I ended spending an extra $100 for the 2 nights to change the room

Staying here is about the location. For a family of 4 seeking a staycation, the amenities beyond the pool were quite limited. The family zone was run-down with no structured activities. The view from the balcony was lovely but it felt more like a Hampton Inn than a posh resort. Finally you get hit with multiple little hidden fees that end up costing as much as the stay, including a 2% credit card fee - would be better if they just baked this into the price rather than dinging you at check-out with a negative surprise. I think it’s better for adults than kids.
