Comfort Inn & Suites Arlington Heights - Schaumburg

Dirty, water damage, toiletries ripped from the disgusting bathroom walls, everything dusty and with random hairs, yellow stained toilet seat and sheets DISGUSTING. Left and stayed somewhere else. That’s after the second room they offered was no better. The one star is for the front desk staff that was very nice but they both agreed it was horrendous and would be equally upset. They said they have a house-keeping issue. Well that’s an understatement. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

Clean room

Location convenient, but bathroom tub had discoloring/stains/worn and should not be in a hotel. Soap dishes in tub had not been cleaned in awhile. Bathroom size very small. Room stale smelling.

Maintained and clean area, even if it was just a small hotel, it was really well kept and the amenities were great!! The complimentary breakfast was great and just right!! It was affordable and very nice!!

However, the bathroom and shower were in rough shape. Our toilet seat had a weird stain on it and the shower was...not ideal...with damage to the wall like something was ripped off of it. I'd consider staying here again but they need to fix what I reported.

Everything was great, older property that can be upgraded a little more, like the bathroom is nice but the shower is older. Would be nice if they match them. Staff was super nice!!

The property was great but the individual room has something o would like to write about. The bathtub was moldy, no rack to hang the wet towel, the faucet was very difficult to open

This place was so good

Hotel was cleaned and stocked with the material needed to make for a comfortable stay. Nothing fancy or extra about the rooms, but they felt a league better then just roughing it too. I'd describe our experience as simple, adequate, safe and comfortable. Fantastic location for quick getting to and form the O'Hare (ORD) airport.

The carpet in the room was stained everywhere, the bathtub was peeling and discussing. The towels were tattered as well as the linens. The thermostat was from the 70’s and you could not control the fan

Our flight got in early, so we knew we might be too early for check in. The first employee we came in contact with told us there were no rooms available. We were able to leave our luggage and go get lunch. There were two other families in the same boat. When we got back, a new employee told us rooms had been available for hours. The lobby looked nice and clean and our room was good with the exception of the bath tub. It was so worn and dirty looking. The soaps had been ripped off of the wall. I explained this to the front desk and asked if there were any better bath tubs. They said that they were all the same because the renovations weren’t complete. They offered to clean the tub, but they didn’t come for a couple of hours. My husband walked to the store and bought cleaner so we could clean it. The breakfast was good and was well stocked.

Condition of the bathroom and the mattress

when we checked in, the general manager had to call to see if our room was ready and it wasn’t, so they gave us another room. it was really close to the front doors, but it looked like it hadn’t been even used or touched in ages. the bathroom was disgusting, with scum on the toilet as well as water stains AND a dead bug in the bathtub, there was red lines from paint or a marker on the side of the bed and about a foot and a half along the floor, the microwave was dirty, and also, the safe was broken. when we complained, the lady at the front desk sounded like she didn’t even care or like she somehow knew we would complain about it and reacted like it was nothing. we chose this hotel because it was decent priced and the photos made it look nice, and it was everything but. my first real bad hotel experience.
