Holiday Inn Express Des Moines Ankeny by IHG

Breakfast was fantastic, room was clean and staff is always helpful and polite. It has always been my go to hotel when visiting ankeny.

Excellent coffee! Staff was friendly. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient to interstate and close to restaurants and shopping. Little bit high priced

We stayed one night to break up our trip home. The room was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, the walk in shower was such a welcome change and the water was very hot. The continental breakfast went above and beyond with pastries, omelets, and plenty of healthy options. It’s close to the highway as well as many stores. We will be back.

The overall stay was a 4 out of 5. Room for improvement could be the cleanliness of the pool area and keeping it stocked with towels. My other complaint was the water pressure and temperature in the bathroom. The water was not very hot and the pressure left a little to be desired. You often had to wait for staff to come to the front desk as well.

Nice rooms & clean. THIN walls, so not much sleep between doors, people in hall, crying baby....heard everything. No one around @ checkout. Stood @ front desk & even call without anyone answering.

Horrible breakfast. Couldn’t eat it. Coffee was not coffee only brown water.

Clean rooms nice staff nice location, but no coffee makers in the rooms anymore. But look for other place.
