The staffs were great and very helpful. The mgr took care right away the billing issue I had. I will for sure stay again if ever I end traveling in Iowa.

The bad: Bed was hard and showerhead choices seemed to be light spray or hard, no good in between for rinsing long hair. The good: nice mini kitchen full of dishes, cups and silverware.i made a cup of hot chocolate in an actual mug before bed. Breakfast was pretty good. Even took a muffin for the road and it was really good/moist. The hot tub was small but hit the spot after walking all day. The staff was very friendly and helpful...5 stars on the staff.

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Location is easy to get to. Bed was very firm. Had pull out couch for daughter and when it was pulled out, you couldn't get around the main bed to get to the left side. Was able to turn couch and make it work. No canopy to load car under when it was raining.

Breakfast wasn’t great but just my personal taste. I hate sausage and fake eggs. Live hash browns but didn’t have any. Otherwise it was a good variety.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. First time was to drop our son off at ISU and this time was to attend his graduation. The place was easy to find, clean, we felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good..something to start your day. I will say that the coffee for breakfast was good compared to other places we have stayed. Hubby and I used the fitness room everyday and was able to get a decent workout. The laundry was clean and I believe the washers are newer ones because last time they had a smell. The only downside was that the ac in the room was very loud when it was on and when the shower is on, the water still runs from the faucet below which in my opinion is a waste of water.Otherwise I would stay here again if I was returning to Ames.
