Super 8 by Wyndham Altoona

The hotel was good, the room was nice. Breakfast was OK, but would have been nice if there would have been scrambled eggs, sausage, or bacon.

The room was clean, but very run down room. Holes in walls, toilet doesn't flush properly, chips in tub, bathroom door did not lock, door falling apart, uncomfortable beds. Overall uncomfortable feeling. Would not stay again.

Evening front desk lady very helpful !!

Dogs were barking throughout the night. Very loud in the halls with running and thumping of the walls.

Good location for me. I am willing to drive to des moines for what I needed Rag stuffed in shower pipe. Breakfast was very limited waffle. And biscuits and gravy. I was hoping fir eggs and sausage.

Staff was friendly and helpful when the battery for the key card didn't work they gave us another King room. The hotel is a good value Kind of hard to get to the hotel the way the street way laid out but not in anyway the hotels fault

Convenience of the location Had issues using our key card to get in our hotel room door, took multiple attempts, but finally was able to enter.

Popl wa s closed, one of the blackout curtains was gone, bteeakfast ran out of food and crabby employees

Everything was as expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast sucks. Also the pool is down.

The room had dirty carpet and was in bad need of updating from the scrapped up chair, the patched ceiling in the bathroom, the horrible caulking and more. BREAKFAST as it was consisted of small muffins, 2 choices of cereal, bread for toast and a waffle maker where the waffles stuck. There was no spray to oil the waffle makers! AND when we checked in I had to ring the bell on the counter 5 times before anyone showed up. We will NEVER stay at a Wyndham property again.

When they checked me in, he sent me to a room that apparently had people in it because when I tried to get in, they knocked at me at 11 PM. I had to go back down and get a new room

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, got a good night’s sleep - thanks!

Swimming pool was broken

There was an odor of Marijuana smoking on the second floor. The bathtub didn't have any anti-slip pads so it was a bit dangerous. The hair dryer didn't work. The light in the bathroom was not as bright as it should have been.
