DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta - Alpharetta

Probably the worst Hilton brand hotel we have ever stayed at.....shower was dirty and moldy. Only one towel left in room each day. Light had been removed at bed with hole in the wall. Vagrants roaming around customers vehicles and one of them peed in the parking lot next to a car.

I loved the Crabtree and Evelyn shower wash, shampoo, and conditioner in a nice walk-in shower… but the bed was simply divine. The staff at the desk each night could not have been more welcoming for me, one of them, insisting to run and get me a fresh cookie from the kitchen he had just made. A very pleasant experience indeed.

So while it what clean and the staff was professional during check in. We stayed for one night after a concert that we got back late from. Someone was trying to use a keycard to open our door at like 7am, they tried twice and stopped so thought it was prob a mistake. Then around 9:30am (Check out is at 12pm) house keeping knocked twice and when I texted the front deck an AI messaged me back that it was 12:00pm just out and apologized then asked if I wanted to speak to a person. Idk odd experience

My family did a 3 night stay (Fri-Mon) at this location for my daughter to participate in a sporting event for the weekend that she had to be at the fields 6:30 am each day. On Friday evening, there were children running up and down the hallways beating on our room doors, sounding as if someone was breaking in. Informed the desk clerk, nothing from management. On Saturday evening, same thing occurs again but my husband and I were able to get to the door and stop several of the group of children and escorted them down stairs to their dads who were in lobby with beer and liquor bottles all over the tables drinking. When the hotel acted as if they didn’t know what to do, I informed the staff and parents I would be contacting headquarters and the authorities if necessary. Filed a complaint at headquarters, they stated there were other complaints. On Sunday, same dads in the lobby with beers and liquor on tables. Almost 11:00 smoke alarm goes off we are in the parking lot until after mid night, because of something that was done on the first floor bathrooms where dads and kids were. Once again nothing from management. If you have other options, go there. Management has done nothing that I’m aware of to address of the patrons at this hotel over the weekend that had to endure all this disruption and frustration. Do not stay here. Headquarters did inform me on Monday that it was still be escalated and reviewed and a penalty has been issued to the hotel, whatever that is

The floor boards in the room were super loud when walking and the comforter had set in juice stains on it.

Staff was very professional and friendly.

We stayed here for one night on our drive from Florida to Kentucky. This is a nice hotel in a safe location. The front desk staff's service was great. The room was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our day. The hospitality was great.

The property is very tired - worn out carpets in the room, along with torn woodwork, etc. The front desk manager was very rude.

The room was nice and clean.. my only thing was the water literally shut off on our last day. No water in the tub or sink. I had to pour my water in the sink after I brushed my teeth. Overall it was okay

Clean room, the desk clerk seemed short tempered and inpatient.

My stay was okay. There is no restaurant onsite at this location Also you have to pay a deposit which isn’t on there website. And you pay before checking in and get back in a few days. For this to be a Doubletree the sheets looked dingy and I won’t stay at this location again.

It was a good stay. Breakfast is over priced by a few bucks, but it was still a good breakfast though.

Room was clean and comfy. Staff was nice. That said, simple breakfast buffet is $16.95. Why? Parking is $5/day. Insulting. Walmart waters in room are $2. No fan in bathroom. Clothes left in drawer by previous guest. Rear entrance door was unsecured even though sign said you need key to enter. It was unlocked. Unsafe. Pool not open til Memorial Day. I won’t stay again because of the nickel and diming.

The staff is the best part of the experience. We stay quite often and the staff always are accommodating.

We were charged for parking, breakfast was extra and the TV channel option was horrible.

Friendly staff, quiet location, and clean room. You'll definitely get a good nights sleep! The Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries in the room are very nice. However, it's silly that we had to pay $5 to park at the hotel - that should be included in the room price. We were also given warm cookies when we checked in - a nice touch and very delicious - but we weren't told they have nuts in them and our daughter has a nut allergy (thankfully she didn't eat one). Also, the bottles of water in the room are $2 each, so bring your own water! Aside from those minor inconveniences, you're in a peaceful, quiet location and you'll get a good nights sleep. We will definitely stay in a DoubleTree again for the peaceful atmosphere and clean rooms.
